The Me app marks every call with a color, so you can judge it at a glance before answering: blue for a verified Me user, green for a reliably identified caller, yellow for an uncertain result, orange for no identification, and red for spam.

Caller ID Color Guide: Know Who’s Calling at a Glance

Remember the days when we couldn’t recognize incoming calls from unknown numbers, so we answered and sometimes regretted it right away?
Luckily, technology has come a long way since then. But as call recognition has improved, so have the methods used by spammers, scammers, and unwanted callers.
Caller ID has become an essential tool not only for recognizing who’s calling, but also for helping protect us from spam calls, phishing attempts, harassment, and other unwanted interactions.
That’s why, at Me, we added another layer of recognition to your calls. Now, you don’t just see who’s calling: you can also get a quick visual indication of how reliable the call may be.

How does it work?

We made it simple. Different call types are marked with different colors, so you can understand the level of identification at a glance.

Color Guide

Blue circle
Verified Caller ID from a Me user. This indicates a high level of trust and verification.

Green circle
Identified call with a very reliable result.

Yellow circle
Uncertain identification. There may not be enough verified information about the number.

Orange circle
No identification available. The number can be reported to help improve the system.

Red circle
Spam call. The call may be suspicious, unwanted, or potentially harmful.

With this color guide, you get more than just a caller name. You get an extra visual layer of information that helps you decide whether to answer, be cautious, or avoid the call altogether.
Now, you can feel more confident with every incoming call and stay one step ahead of unwanted callers.

Hope this helps 🙂

Colors are spam protection you can read in half a second

A caller name tells you who; the color tells you how much to trust it. A red circle means the community has flagged the number: treat it as a spam call and feel free to report it, which sharpens the warning for everyone else. The same color system follows the number from the incoming call to its profile in the app, so a number you check later carries the same signal.
