Accessibility Statement
We at Me App consider it of utmost importance to make our digital services accessible to people with disabilities, believing that online services should be available to everyone.
What this statement covers
This statement applies to the me.app website and to every language version of it served from this domain. The Me mobile applications for Android and iOS, and the business portal at biz.me.app, are covered by their own arrangements and are not part of this statement.
Accessibility Level
This site partially conforms to the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 2013. The adjustments follow the Israeli Standard (IS 5568) for web content accessibility at level AA and the international WCAG 2.2 guidelines, and some parts of the site do not yet fully meet them.
Conformance status: Partially conformant. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the site do not yet fully meet the standard. The items we know about are listed under Known limitations below.
Adjustments Made
- The site is adapted for keyboard-only navigation with visible focus indicators.
- Support for common screen readers (such as NVDA, JAWS).
- Text enlargement up to 200% without loss of content.
- High contrast mode and grayscale mode.
- Readable font option and adjustable text spacing.
- Big cursor and reading guide for easier navigation.
- Option to stop all animations (prefers-reduced-motion).
- Highlighted links for easier identification.
- Skip to content link for keyboard users.
- Minimum touch target size of 24x24 pixels (WCAG 2.2).
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some content on this site may not yet be fully accessible. We know about the following, and we are working on them:
- Colour contrast: some buttons and links in the brand blue, some light grey text on the iPhone caller ID, privacy center and Me Web pages, orange and green labels, and text inside the app screen illustrations are below the required contrast ratio. We will adjust these shades to meet it.
- Animation: some pages have looping animations without a pause button. They stop when the “reduce motion” setting is on in your device. We will add a pause control to every animation that runs longer than five seconds.
- Keyboard and screen readers: on the Pro page and the iPhone caller ID page, buttons inside the app screen demonstrations are not announced by screen readers. We will move them out of the image so they are announced.
- Page structure: some standalone pages, such as iPhone caller ID, privacy center and release notes, repeat the site header landmark, skip heading levels or place content outside landmarks, and some blog articles skip heading levels. We will correct the heading and landmark structure.
- Testing scope: these items come from automated checks (axe-core and Lighthouse) of 17 key pages in Hebrew, English and Arabic, on desktop and mobile. A full manual review with a screen reader has not yet been carried out. We plan to carry one out and will update this statement with the results.
- The opt-out request form and the business sign-up forms use Google reCAPTCHA, a third-party component we do not control. It loads only when you start filling in the form and offers an audio alternative.
- Links to the App Store and Google Play, to the Me Web app at web.me.app, to the business portal and to social networks lead to services that are not part of this site, and each has its own accessibility arrangements.
